Our client is a growing brand that designs and creates beautiful stationery and home décor products that is sold in thousands of locations across the world. They are currently looking to add a Systems Manager to their team to be responsible for the implementation of new processes and projects in SAP Business One and manage existing and growing IT infrastructure. This includes both hardware and software applications ranging across Mac and Windows platforms and a wide range of reporting methods. This individual will support daily functions on a tactical level but also provide strategic insight into best practices moving forward to position the organization for further growth, as well as auditing the system for accuracy.

What You'll Do

Recommend software strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

Administer server environment; configure, maintain, patch, troubleshoot, and repair servers as necessary to ensure data accessibility and functionality.

Manages data backup and restoration to ensure data integrity and reliability.

Coordinates training staff on new system protocols.

Create reports based on departmental needs in Crystal Reports, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau.

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SQL Server (including database instances, reporting services, and BI reporting)

Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing softwares, systems, or IT changes.

Proactively recommend and implement IT solutions relating to servers, storage, networking, and other technologies with the ability to scale in mind.

Write and update user manuals for new systems and processes within SAP.

Project manage new software implementation and processes as needed by the business.

Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.

Audit company systems on a weekly and monthly basis for accuracy in integrations and resolving human error data issues.

Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data.

Maintain vendor and consultant relationships as first point of contact.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor degree in a technical field preferred (Information Technology, or equivalent certification such as MSCE or similar)

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical field

Experience with SQL required

Experience working with ERP software, specifically SAP, a plus

Comfortable working in a Mac and PC environment simultaneously

Experience managing Windows Servers

Strong technical writing skills and ability to organize process maps

Strong attention to detail is a must

Ability to learn quickly

Must be a self-starter and able to adjust to shifting priorities

Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills required
