Position Overview
The District Manager will provide strategic direction and hands-on operational leadership across a group of retail locations. This person will be responsible for driving financial performance, developing store leaders, ensuring consistent execution, and creating a strong customer and employee experience across the district.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple retail locations, ensuring consistent execution and strong overall performance.
- Coach, develop, and hold Store Managers and leadership teams accountable to operational, financial, and people objectives.
- Analyze financial performance, including P&L, labor, productivity, and revenue trends, and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Asset Protection, Marketing, and other corporate functions.
- Lead hiring, training, performance management, coaching, and corrective action across the district.
- Ensure merchandising, inventory, product flow, safety, and operational standards are consistently met.
- Manage labor budgets and staffing levels while balancing operational needs and financial targets.
- Foster a positive, high-performing culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and employee development.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of multi-unit retail management experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing store-level leadership teams
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&L management, labor, and budgeting
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
- Flexibility to travel throughout the assigned market as needed
